Writing an academic resume is similar to writing a regular resume. You split it up by section, and then list your activities or qualities in order, starting with the most recently learned, applied, or participated. Some of these sections can include:

• Scholarly pursuits. This includes grades, honors and AP tracks, honor rolls, honors societies, college courses taken in high school, and any awards you may have received.
• Organizations that you actively participate(d) in.
• Extracurricular activities.
• Qualities and characteristics that you have. (Keep a story of their application in the back of your mind for each one.)
• Jobs, with the names, address and phone numbers of employers.
• Awards you have received in any other aspect of your life.
• Hobbies and interests. (Seriously include anything that sets you apart!)
• Weird things you’ve done.
• Things you have done that most people your age haven’t.
• Talents and skills.
• Your intended major.
